Assateague Island Eco-Tour:
Come aboard our 6 passenger, twin engine, Glacier Bay Catamaran, for an eco- friendly adventure! The 3 hour tour departs from Back Bay Adventures on 32nd street and includes a 30 minute scenic boat ride to Assateague Island. On Assateague your group will be guided (on kayak or stand up paddleboard)through calm waterways, which offer great sightseeing opportunitues for Assateague’s wild ponies and other native species. This is a semi-guided tour, which you will be given instructions for where you can paddle or clam.

We have 3 paddleboards, 2 single kayaks, and 2 tandem kayaks to choose from. Add Clamming to your tour for only $15 per person! Includes clam bucket and rake!
Assateague Island Exploration Tour: This tour has all the same features as the Assateague Eco-Tour, but is focused more on exploring Assateague and not on paddling.This tour is great for a family or the person who wants to go shelling, learn more about Assateague Island, relax on the beach, wade in the water, have a picnic, or go for a stroll. This tour includes the clamming package!
Horn Island Tour:
Come aboard our 6 passenger, twin engine, Glacier Bay Catamaran and explore Ocean City’s most popular island! The 3 hour tour departs from Back Bay Adventures on 32nd street and includes a 20 minute scenic boat ride to the Island. On the island your group will have the opportunity to kayak, paddleboard, or simply relax with your beach chair in the shallow waters. The island offers picturesque views of Ocean City and is home to a bird nesting sanctuary. This is a semi- guided tour, which you will be given instructions for where you can paddle or clam.
Horn Island Clamming: This tour has all the same features as the Horn Island Tour, yet it is focused on clamming and not paddling. Clamming is included in this package!

Wetlands Tour:
Come aboard our 6 passenger, twin engine, Glacier Bay Catamaran and view Ocean City’s preserved salt marshes! The 3 hour tour departs from Back Bay Adventures on 32nd street and includes a 20 minute scenic boat ride to various pristine saltmarshes. Your group will have the opportunity to paddleboard/ kayak while havng the chance to view native species such as blue herons, white egrets, seagulls, blue crabs, horse shoe crabs, and much more. This is a semi-guided tour, which requires you to paddle for approximately 2 hours. Clamming is not available on this tour.

*Back Bay Adventures, Inc. strongly recommends wearing sand shoes on your tour. We also suggest bringing a camera and a waterproof container for your belongings. Back Bay Adventures, Inc. will not be held liable for personal items left on the boat during your tour. For your convenience we offer disposable cameras and waterproof containers in our tackle shop. Food and non-alcholic beverages are permitted.

Monday, Friday, and Saturday 4-7pm, or Sunday 8-11am, 12-3pm, or 4-7pm.
Horn Island Tour/ Horn Island Clamming: $350 (up to 6 passengers)
Monday, Friday, and Saturday 4-7pm, or Sunday 8-11am, 12-3pm, or 4-7pm.
Wetlands Tour: $325 (up to 6 passengers)
Monday, Friday, and Saturday 4-7pm, or Sunday 8-11am, 12-3pm, or 4-7pm.
Clamming package: $15/ person. Can be added to the island tours only.
